My name is Laurel Nyegaard, and I am the proud owner and operator of Touch of Grace Restorative Aesthetics. I entered the world of paramedical tattooing after many years of working as a traditional tattoo artist, alongside my dad and brother, who opened our tattoo shop in 1991. In 2022, I discovered that I carried the BRCA2 gene and after careful consideration, I decided to undergo a prophylactic double mastectomy. This experience taught me the value of having a team of doctors and medical professionals that truly care. Once I was healed, my calling to paramedical tattooing became clear. After training with Mandy Sauler, the resident paramedical tattooer at Penn Medicine and founder of the Sauler Institute, Touch of Grace was born. I am honored to do my part for women who have experienced the uncertainty of a breast cancer diagnosis. It is my mission to provide women with the final page in their healing journey to feel comfortable and confident in their bodies again.
